Agency Survey: global secondary sector
Overall, 75 per cent of international secondary school students chose to study in the top three destinations of the USA, UK or Canada in 2023.
Key facts
- 200 agencies took part in our survey of agents who place students into secondary programs.
- In total, respondents placed 7,874 students into secondary programs in 2023.
- Agent respondents were based in a total of 44 countries.
- The most popular accommodation type for secondary students was homestay (71 per cent).
- Secondary placements increased by an average of 10 per cent in 2023.
- Average commission was 16 per cent and ranged from between 7.5 and 30 per cent of tuition fees.
